Martin Housing Authority (MHA) is seeking a Finance Director. Qualified candidate should be a highly responsible professional that conducts administrative work in developing, implementing, and coordinating an effective financial management system for MHA. The Financial Director is responsible for general ledger management, agency-wide budgets, resources management, and financial management functions. Within these functional areas this position is responsible for performance that positively contributes to the Agency by receiving satisfactory ratings in HUD Agency performance evaluation systems, such as Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS), or other future HUD evaluation systems.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a B.A. (B.S.) Degree in Accounting or closely related field is required. Three to five years accounting experience with two years in grants management, public housing, non-profit or other public agency accounting.
